At Wyldwood Arts, we work at the intersection of culture, community, and well-being, with a bold vision: to drive positive social change through equitable, place-based creative practice.

We co-create imaginative, meaningful projects with and for the brilliant people of the Forest of Dean. Rooted in the wild beauty and rich character of this remarkable region, our work is shaped by its rhythms, stories, and spirit.

This is a hinterland like no other—on the edge of everywhere. Tucked between two rivers, bridging two nations, and sitting outside the pull of the cities, the Forest is a patchwork of characterful towns, close-knit villages, unique communities… and countless trees. We honour what makes this place special and channel its creativity into something extraordinary.

From unexpected pop-up arts events in unlikely spaces to long-term collaborations, and our roaming creative hub—the Wyldwood Wagon—we spark connections that bring powerful artistic experiences to life.

Everything we do is grounded in the belief that arts, culture, and creativity are essential to well-being, mental health, and genuine social transformation. We connect people, ignite shared imagination, and uplift lesser heard voices across the community.

At the heart of our practice is a deep commitment to widening access to the arts and championing social justice, equality, diversity, and inclusion—because creativity should belong to everyone.

We work with talented local artists, creators, facilitators, and producers across the Forest of Dean, Wye Valley, Gloucester, Bristol and beyond.
