The Meeting Place

Discover the creativity in your community

The Meeting Place is a new participatory arts project designed to inspire, nurture and celebrate grassroots creative talent in the Forest of Dean.

Through a series of artist-led creative performance workshops in locations across the Forest, this exciting project offers local people the opportunity to explore and engage with a wide range of expressive art forms - from dance and drama to songwriting and spoken-word poetry. They are completely free and are open to anyone aged 15-115 with an interest in creative arts - no previous experience required!

Participants will be invited to share any work they create during the project at a live showcase event, being held as part of Coleford Music Festival in July 2022.
