Last year, Wyldwood Arts collaborated with Travelling Light Youth Theatre to create a piece of intergenerational theatre that captured the lives of the community in Barton Hill Settlement.

Hillstories, was a piece inspired by memories and stories from the young people at Travelling Light Youth Theatre and from the older adults at the local bingo group.

The youth theatre helped devise the piece by attending the weekly bingo club at Barton Hill Settlement. Both groups had the opportunity to learn about each other’s stories in a series of sessions and workshops at the youth theatre, as well as at a tea party, which the young people hosted for the bingo club members.
