The Silbury Celebration

During 2018, Wyldwood Arts ran creative intergenerational sessions with Silver Social Club and Young Bristol at Ashton Vale Club for Young People. We experimented with visual arts, media, food and event organising. The final celebration of the project was open to the public and coincided with Young Bristol's 90th Birthday! 

The celebration event was named 'The Silbury Celebration'. 'Silbury' is the name of the road that Ashton Vale Club for Young People is on, so this felt like a good name for the final festivities! The event was a fundraiser, raising money for the club. We held a football tournament for children and their parents, a plant stall, a cake sale and more games and activities inside the club! 

The celebration was on Wednesday 19th September 2018, 6-8pm at Ashton Vale Club for Young People.
